Yes, i know I might be a bit sad, but want to buy a tv that will run on both 12 volt and 240 volt. Have seen a MEOS tv. It uses 30 Watts electric (2.5 amps at 12V)

Has anyone any experience of this make of TV. Will it be enough to watch 1-2 hours tv off the leisure battery between chargings if I need to.

Any info would be appreciated.

I've got the 13.3" Meos unit. Perfect size for a campervan and power is lower than 15" units.
Sounds good and UI is fairly good.

Only problem is the DIVX AVI player is a bit fussy over codecs and the audio sync goes off over the duration of a film.

But TV analogue/digital and DVD is all very good.

I'd buy another

At 30W, 2.5A, so an 85AH battery is 25+ hours use - so 1-2 hours is no issue.

Hi , we have had 15inch meos 12 months really pleased with it, not had any problems we have played 2 hour dvds plus watched 1 hr tv not had any prob with leisure battery .Also price was very reasonable compared to avtex . Terry ( Piglets Pilot)

We have a 12v Meos Digital TV/DVD player with games. Bought new on eBay.
It works well and is light and easy to store when not in use.
No problems with battery life.

We have a 15" Meos and not had any problems. Tend to read more than watch the TV, but hubby has it on with not too much drain on the battery

I have a brand new, never used Cello TP 1510F surplus to requirements. DVD player, DVB (digital telly reciver), and can be used as a computer monitor.

Requires a new power supply (240v), and 12v regulator, as it never had one, and is VESA mount only (no stand) or remote! Has buttons on the side so you dont HAVE to have the remote.

cheap though...

PM me?
