    Wild camping on Mull

Sounds like you stopped at the same campsite we stayed with the children back in the 80s. Customer woo was non existent. The owner was a right caution but we had a couple of nights pitched by the septic tank before we escaped

    Swift Rio 340

Ours was 2nd hand (just) when we bought it so some foibles had been resolved. But the list of crazy impractical design points is incredible. I've just moved the water tank underneath rather than hogging one of the prime internal storage spots. The gas regulator is in the way when you fit the gas...

    Swift Rio 340

We bought a Swift Compact C404 last year - now 2 years old. Looks great but build quality is crap and I really wish I'd just done a self build. We're just making the most of it

    Sonic mouse deterrents?

We got a solar powered multi pest deterrent off eBay with options for deer, rats, mice, squirrels and raccoons (!?). Not seen any raccoons but the deer still munch our plants and the squirrels seem happy to sit by it chewing whatever they can. Waste of a fiver if you ask me

    Altering water level prpbes

After a lengthy wait I finally got this from Sargent: Hi Richard, If you reduce the dimension of the water probe studs, the water levels will not show up correctly on the Sargent panel any longer. Kind regards, Technical Support -well I've made the cuts now and to be honest if it doesn't...

    Altering water level prpbes

I think mohos are designed by people who never actually use them - the latest versions have underslung tanks and hopefully somewhere to store your smalls🤣

    Altering water level prpbes

I'm replacing the internal 100l water tank in my Swift Moho with a smaller underslung CAK tank. The Sergeant probe has 4 rods and the longest one (about 30cm) will be too long for the new tank. Is it possible either just to clip the end off it or bend it so it'll fit. It was never particularly...

Ducato long arm offside door mirror available

I have a complete 20cm electrically operated heated door mirror assembly for a Fiat Ducato 2006 onwards. It has a high impact shiny black back. It can be collected from Hebden Bridge OR I am willing to send by Evri by arrangement. I'm happy for it to go free to a good home.

    Giants Causeway

We parked further along the road and walked down to the rope bridge but the staff told us that if we'd rung the number they open the height barrier

How many people sleep better in their van/motorhome than at home?

Mrs P always says she gets a better night's sleep in the van 👍

Just thought I'd send you a picture of the box in action on oue Wild Atlantic Way trip. It has been admired by a couple of ladies we met out here and has been fantastic - thanks 👍

    Ireland - first time

We're there now - started in Larne working our way round. We've 5 weeks but finding it really interesting and progress is slow. We've had a few lovely overnight wild camps in Donegal and Mayo - Blacksod on the Mullet Head peninsula was fascinating - lighthouse tour! Sea trip to the cliffs at...

    Spare wheel

We had a Autotrail Tracker with no spare. Went from Croatia to Norway with it. Lots of gravel roads. No punctures despite my worries. Mind you we did get a flat on a tiny road in Scotland the next year 😉

    EU pet passports

I'd just like to let any Yorkshire folk know that Andrew Miller was very helpful and able to arrange the paperwork in Leeds. I'd certainly recommend him. His email is: contact@animalhealthcertificatesuknorth.co.uk
