    Jump leads

Hi folks, Having needed jump leads last weekend, I wonder if anyone can recommend a set that's heavy duty and long enough ( leisure battery is under the drivers seat and battery at the same side) Just had a look on e bay and they seem a tad cheap. The ones we used were way too heavy to carry...

    Shower tray

New and unused shower tray to fit a swift kontiki. I bought it to fit a Sundance, but found, to my cost, it is 7 cm too long, I would like £200, which is what it cost me. Colour is ivory.

Removing a Thetford bench toilet. (Chicken and Egg.)

Afternoon folks, Houston we have a problem. We have removed the old shower tray to replace with a new one. In my innocence/naivety, i thought one out, one in......no such luck. It seems that the only way to get said tray in, is to raise the toilet bench, it has a curved bit at the front, don't...

    Regulators

Hi, I know that propane and butane have different regulators, but is there a different one if I want to use refillable bottles? I read the other week that refillable gas is a mixture of propane and butane and can vary, country to country. I would just be using gas in the UK for now. Thanks.

    Hot weather and tyre pressures

I just wonder, does the hot weather affect tyre pressure. Do I need to increase/decrease the pressure slightly? I had a rear tyre blow a few years ago, and i'm not anxious to repeat the experience.

    Fridge Problem.

This weekend my fridge has decided not to work on gas. 12v/240v both ok so not the fridge itself. The burner is lit and a good colour, and the flue is clean but it won't cool. The only thing I can think of is the gas thermostat. Can anyone make other suggestions? Thanks.

    Just curious

I have always been under the impression that most commercial vehicles have a max weight of 3500 k, but for some reason I can't fathom, mine, according to the log book, is 3,400. To illustrate what I'm talking about, and as an exercise, I looked at the max weight of two Elddis, both on a...

    Quick tip

I went down to the supermarket yesterday, and when I came out I had a low tyre. Being unable to change the tyre myself, and not wanting to get assistance out, I thought I'd have a go at trying to sort it myself. Gets the tyre inflator out but soon realised the air was coming out nearly as fast...

The tourist town that doesn"t want tourists.

if you have the time and inclination, take a look at an article in the Whitby gazette titled "PARKING WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN" to summarize, they are introducing a park and ride system that will run from march 1st to oct 31st. they also propose to permit parking in the town only if you have...
