  1. Iboost problems

Thanks I had clicked change but then saw the Apply at the top right and that seems to work. I think I wasn't near enough the other night to pick up signal.

Basically can't get the thing to work fully We're in France travelling down to Spain is there anyone who can actually show me what to do. I think the problem is with iPad as after I switch SSID setting it keeps reverting to b virgin media and I don't know how to stop it changing back. Same thing...

  4. Ferry booked

At long last we are going to head South to find the sun. I think all the niggles with new MH are sorted. Just got to pack everything for trip to Dover on Wednesday and catch ferry at 9.25 am Thursday morning. I'm a happy bunny:rabbit: and now we know what we can/can't carry (payload issue) it...

  6. How to clean a stainless steel cooker hob

Try Starcleanse. Spray on - leave for a few minutes and most stuff washes off with a bit of help with the green Buffalo pads.
  7. 60kg PAYLOAD

Motorhomes are not the only ones over weight. I was talking to someone who was at Blenheim horse trials (or something of that ilk) 600 horse trailers - about 400 were pulled in and fined because they were overweight. One make of three horse trailer is now classed as 2 horses and a pony!!! If...
  8. Rent out house when away in MH

We have a few properties which we rent out and manage ourselves. We are lucky we have a gas fitter/plumber, electrician and window fitter on call who fit any problems in straight away. They maybe aren't the cheapest tradesmen, but they treat us well as we do them. Our tenants know they can get...

Have they still stopped the parking on the beach at la Mata?
  10. Umweltplakette - emissions sticker

Damn, I've got to send log book off to get it uprated. I wasn't going to change it until we have been away, just carry the paperwork with us. Oh well, just have to avoid German cities this time?

Did you need to scan your log book for details
  12. Air Suspension.

SAP have replaced the springs on ours at back only. John kept the springs in case we need to drop down again.
  13. Air Suspension.

It did cost £1500 for rear air suspension. If we want to upgrade front springs it'll cost another £650.
  14. Air Suspension.

We were originally under the impression that air suspension didn't let you carry more, but it actually does allow it - well the sort SAP have fitted does - 200k in our case is the limit. We got all the paperwork and has to be sent off to DVLA with log book to get changed. I feel a lot happier...

I'd missed this post before and thought I would add part of another posting I made. As some of you know we just bought a new Mobilvetta- our dream van after seeing one in Belgium last year. The price was excellent. I'm not knocking the quality of fittings and extras which come with and main...

Air Suspension SAP Near Doncaster great customer service. Just had Air suspension fitted by SAP at Adwick Le Street near Doncaster. What a great firm to deal with. Sorted all paperwork and fitted in a couple of weeks. It's great - it's also going to be handy if the ground isn't quite level...
  18. Ferries to hull

We live south of Humber - 15 ish miles from Hull. Only ever used the ferry once. It's cheaper and as quick to get from Spain via Calais. Can be done quickly in 3 days if needed. I broke my wrist a couple of years ago and I found it uncomfortable to sleep in MH so dove back quickly from Santa...
  19. Permanent bed v drop down bed - A-class type

Just a few thoughts on different vehicles. The Adria coach built, we had for a few months had a drop down bed which came down in the middle of vehicle and twin beds at the back - made the length 7 m plus. Only problem was you all ended up going to bed as, although the seats at the front were...
  20. Watawieh Yorle! (Hello and how are you? from Norfolk Islanders - South Pacific)

Welcome to the site and the UK. As you have a large vehicle, try and check the POIs on google earth as some of them will be quite tight. A lot of members have smaller vehicles and find it easy to fit in smaller spaces and easily get where larger ones can't.
