There is a great free place on the A35 near Bridport, picnic area, has clearings for campervan, toilets and water. You can stay overnight just have to leave the pitch for a couple of hours each day.

Around Lyme Regis you’ll find a few small campsites just outside town that are cheaper than the big holiday parks, and some farm sites inland that welcome campervans. A lot of people also use lay-bys or car parks overnight, but worth checking signs first as some don’t allow it. Staying a little out of town is usually easier and more budget-friendly.
