Dropped CaMC last year, hadn't used any of their Club or CL sites for at least 5 years as they are just too expensive.
Been a member of C&CC for about 33 years, am a Veteran member so get annual membership half price now. Have stayed on 4 Club sites so far this year - Devizes, Wolverley, Nottingham ad St Neots. Just got back this afternoon from St Neots. 7 nights for £71.75. Can't beat it.
We'd have veteran status by now if it hadn't been for a four year break -- we've been members for all but that four years since 1986 but only 21 reckonable consecutive yearsBeen a member of C&CC for about 33 years, am a Veteran member so get annual membership half price now. Can you now book for 1 night on the CCC sites and their CS sites, some years ago we could not do this.
CMC, no one has mentioned do far how ridiculously expensive their sites are now, but agree with the comments on their petty rules, no splitters allowed now on the electric, ridiculous rule, wardens cannot explain why.
Presumably because 2 vans sharing 1 EHU will use twice as much electricity and constantly trip the switch?

I suspect it depends upon the personal opinions of the site wardens. For both, commercial vehicles are frowned upon AIUI. At least, that was my experience when towing with a signwritten panel van and required to drop the caravan off and park the van somewhere other than my pitch. Also, I've met people with self builds who booked on line and were told that they'd have been turned away if they'd just turned up on site -- and even then the wardens wanted to look inside to be sure it wasn't a 'builders van' with a mattress chucked in the back! However, I've also met people with self builds who'd been met at sites of both clubs with open arms...Do either of these outfits discriminate against self builds?
My Iveco isn’t exactly your average PVC!
