I'm just wondering if anyone has had the misfortune to own an Autosleeper Warwick XL where their Truma boiler has developed a fault. One of the elements in my boiler needs to be replaced although it still works perfectly on gas. . I have contacted Truma UK who would not wish to dismantle furniture in order to gain access to it so I contacted the Autosleeper who tell me that they could not repair it as they have no qualified staff to do it although they can supply and fit a new one at a cost of about £2700. My concern is that the interior furniture might need to be butchered to gain access and whether it can all be replaced undamaged and successfully afterwards. If anyone has had similar problems I would appreciate whatever information they can give me, on how they tackled the issue. thanks in advance.

Thats the problem, it's beneath the wardrobe. There is a removable panel which gives access bit I doubt removal would be easy that way. it may be that the bed frame and the electrical, charger, water pump etc would need to be removed to pull it out that way but I can see tha while wardrobe might need to be pulled apart.
 
I have a Swift Mondial RL which is very similar in layout and to remove my Truma everything you mention has to be removed to get the boiler out to replace the elements. But my boiler is entirely within the bed frame,
 
Does your boiler come through into the bed frame area or confined entirely under the wardrobe. Where are you based

I think could come out through bottom of wardrobe and or through bed frame. I am based in Suffolk
 
Getting the frame, pump and elecs out of the way is not difficult. Just tedious with the amount of screws used. The difficult bits to access are the four screws in the feet (if they have put them all in) and the exhaust clamps.
 
If you decide to do it yourself be fairly gentle with the exhaust as it is a balanced flue and the inner gets brittle and can split.
