Have been looking at the POVOS and the Philips PQ225, but if anyone has hands on experience and can recommend a shaver that can be charged in the motorhome even better. This is my final piece of equipment required to eliminate the need for an EHU and to survive longer stays off grid.

I have one very similar, no cooling fan on mine so very quiet, uses very little extra power, I use it for my satellite box or video player, hair/beard trimmer etc, mine is hard wired but I carry a 300W one in the car just in case

I also have a 150 watt inverter which I use for my shaver but its broken two electric tooth brush chargers. Seems they are sensitive to being used on a none pure sine wave inverter. Shaver seems ok though.

A wet shaver reduces your power usage drastically!!

If you use it in conjunction with a shaving oil instead of foam or gel then the payload is reduced as well.

Not heard of this batteriser so googled it and it says they extend battery life by 800 per cent. Where do you buy these from?

I was curious myself , check the scientific analysis . Serious electronic people debunk the 'science' behind it , even the manufacturers arithmetic is proven to be dodgy

I last had a shave in 1970
my family laughed so much at seeing me without a beard I never did it again ! ROFL is the expression I think !

I have a rechargeable philips shaver (3 head) ive had for a while and it lasts ages on full charge, I have never taken the charger with me on holidays (flight type), cant say how long it lasts tho, a month, probably more but could depend how often its used, me, a couple of times a week at best, a small inverter should be handy tho

i use a braun which goes on two aa batts and i have a usb charger that charges only two aa so very happy and the razor cost £10 from tesco.

I had this one Buy Braun M90 Mobile Shaver | John Lewis fantastic shave from it, unfortunately after about a month the foil wore through. Took it back to get a replacement foil, nope, don't make them. After a lot of haggling they gave me a replacement razor. A month later the new one wore through the foil would you believe. Threw it in the bin. A great shame because it worked well, and shame on Braun for not making replacement foils for this and apparently many of their other models.
