Bloody hell John! You can't complain too much. It looks like its been great from most of the photos so far. Well apart from your plethora of mishaps. Don't tell me you broke something else or got blown up or something? :LOL: :oops:

Christmas Eve was always a big party night for me back in the day and Christmas day always a bit shite.
 
Be warned the weather is dire, even had a alert on my mobile. Heavy rain and flooding expected in the Alt Emporda.

Although not Benidorm it's self you pass through.
Do not forget your snow tyres as you also pass through the mandatory zones on the way.
Few actual checks other than random services by police, but should you be involved in any accident your in a very bad place legally.
Although Spain it's fiercely Catalan and a few words help a great deal .

I think i have a bottle of Madri in the fridge. How long does it keep? If it was wine, whisky or bacardi I wouldn't be asking of course ...
 
Left Benidorm this morning which had hurricane winds, trees down, bars and cafe fronts destroyed, loads of damage on Camping Raco. Tree down in front of camping La Torreta no one could get on or off the site.The winds finally stopped when we arrived this evening on an aire in Zaragossa.
Its been the coldest and wettest weve ever known in 20 odd years.
We have decided at the age of 76 that we will not travel abroad again.

We also had terrible wind and rain for a few days at Motril. The road outside the campsite was flooded for 2 days and there was a day's chainsaw action in the campsite to sort out the fallen/dangerous trees. We have now moved to the east of Almeria and it seems much calmer here...and 20 degrees forecast for today as well.
 
Thats a shame, looked like you were having a great time a while back. I think a few people have said the same of late though. Weather is just so unpredictable now. Its the same in summer as well now. That heatwave last August in the south of France was just dire. Hated it.
