Folk get carried away thinking its easy to convert, all trades required, plumber spark trimmer chippy welder etc, hence many sold after it dawns on them that they have no mission of doing the jobs or the tools to do so.
 
I almost bought one about 15 years ago (Gateshead Council Mobile Library). They usually come with a lot of extras, like 240 volt systems, lots of batteries etc. The shape also lends itself to an easier conversion and there is a lot of external storage (at least on the one I was looking at.

By todays prices yes, i paid a lot less for mine when it was ten year old. mine 22ft these are 27 and make a fab conversion, spotted one in Dunegal and the chap let me in to look round, six bunk beds as he had yes 6 kids. :eek:

It's not that hard, you managed it, so did I.

Not that much really Rob a childs compass is all you need to scribe the shape of anything that has to butt up to the walls.

My Renault Master extra high top was/is a mare Kev. Loads of stuff to scribe around and because the walls taper in putting high level cupboards is a pain in the arse. Putting a bulkhead on the Luton is pissing me off at the moment as is rebuilding the shower/toilet compartment - just getting the panels into the van and in position is a major operation.
 
Our local education board had 2 big busses for sale from the speach department, chap running it told me both for sale at 2g each, one i seen eas like new with only a handfull of miles on it.
