After selling our much loved and very faithful 25 year old Mercedes Autotrail to go to Spain, we yesterday bought a new motorhome which we pick up a week today. Transit based good self conversion of an ambulance, 98K on a 2.5 diesel, 12 months MOT and what we really wanted - long day beds (6ft6) - at the rear giving a massive bed and panoramic view. Looks really nice except for the VERY irritating Betty Boops on one side which my wife and daughter think are wonderful and I think are tacky!
Will post piccies once we get him/her.
Know what I've really missed? Knowing if I want to I could go outside, get in and just drive away for a few days to anywhere. Can't wait till next Tuesday now. A year 2000 motorhome - something we thought we'd never manage to get to!:lol-053:
