Was wondering if any would like to give their thoughts as to which of the Islands off the west coast of Scotland they would recommend for an interesting two days and nights Wilding without huge ferry fees. We have done Skye, and Lewis is a little too far offshore as I suspect the ferry would be very expensive. Our van is just under 21 feet in length.

Get a ferry from Uig on Skye to Lochmaddy where you have access to North and South Uists, Benbecula, Berneray, Eriskay, all by road.
Motorhome up to 8 metres with 2 passengers costs £83.70 return. Plenty of wildcamping sites but dont park in passing places on single track roads
