Plenty of rainfall overnight.
Holding off. Until this afternoon.
Great to get out into the garden.
The soll is like velvet.
Picked some wild spinach, from the lane.
Blue rock thrushes going through their full repertoire as we sit under the Olive, brandy in coffee.
Ominous clouds pulling in from the SW.
Can't grumble, though

About 60 miles south as the crow flies.
No vans here.

Not sure if it's one of CampervanAnnie's favourite spots?

Clear and dry in Devon, spect it's the gsrden for us too Rob
I applied a second coat of Osmo Oil yesterday Chris and I can't believe the difference in the colour - from the same tin.

I'm wondering if when we did the first coat we didn't stir it enough and the pigment was largely settled in the bottom so when we did the second it was far more concentrated with pigment? Either way, we are very pleased. Also oiled the fascia boards yesterday before fitting today, we are doing those and the windows and doors in a different colour so it made the fascias easier to do before fitting.

I've had a memo this morning instructing that the concrete base, where it shows is to be painted dark grey to match the slate chippings.

Memo , sounds better than instructions. You'll need a hearty brekky before braving the elements out there

Indeed Chris, I've requested bacon and egg sandwiches.

Then it's 'once more unto the breach...'
