I received a scam email today inviting me to accept or decline an invitation for a vaccination. I expect most people have heard about these scams but thought I'd post this for info, to give you an idea of what one might look like. I also double-checked it online and found the exact same message here. The wording "it then goes on to say" is part of the message! All a bit random.
I obviously didn't click but have no doubt it would have asked me to pay, when we all know the vaccination is free. A whole new reason to "Stay Alert"

As part of the government’s coordinated response to Coronavirus, NHS is performing selections for coronavirus vaccination on the basis of family genetics and medical history. You have been selected to receive a Coronavirus Vaccination
You can only use this service if you have received an email or SMS regarding this invitation. You can not use this service for anyone other than yourself. You are also free to reject this invitation, your appointment will be issued to the next person in line in that case. |
