We encountered these two vehicles a few times in Spain last month, converted HGV lorries , one articulated , they were wild camping in places we were , I thought them a bit big to be on the beaches , but hey ho they were there, one was set up to fit Solar panels if one wanted panels but I never saw them working in this field.

SDC10141.JPG This was on a beach at Ricon del la Victoria.

I think parking one of those trucks up on the beach is taking the p155! and not doing motohomers any favours, and I'm sure others will think them all fair game:p

I've just pulled into a truck park at Avon Heath (Dorset) there's are signs that say HGVs only, even tho there's 3 motorhomes already here,so I'd say artics are fine for wildcamping in similar facilities, especially in Europe where truckers are well catered for,and if there's no signs expressly forbidding them at the beach then crack on I say.
In a situation like I am now,I'm the only one out of us four that's permitted here.

Yes I know the place, an anti motorhome area, height bars on the carpark and they're not allowed in the truck area.

I come here regularly over the summer,it's fine in the weekends but during the week it gets full with trucks,Its good for me,not far from work and out the door into the forest with the dog, also handy having loos and water.

Thousands of them filling our laybys every night, and nobody says a word.
