Annie, on the control panel inside the van there should be a way normally by pressing a button that tells you what voltage is in the engine/starter battery and the leisure batteries.

If your not sure take a photo of it and put it on here and some one will be able to tell you which button to press.
its showing 12v at the moment and the battery is at least 3 years old so at he end of lockdown I’ll purchase a new engine battery hope it won’t do any harm leaving it with a flat battery or could sit in it on my drive with the engine running for a few hours.

Not good to let a engine idle and not working, take a round trip of 30 miles to get imaginary shopping.
