Staying on a campsite, not bad really.

We have lived in our van when moving or rebuilding/renovating our house(s) on several occasions and it makes it so very much easier and cheaper to do so, mind you on each and every occasion we had the van parked up on our own land so there were no site charges to swallow.

When we moved to our current house where we totally ripped out the kitchen, knocked down connecting walls and built a small extension as well, for some unknown reason we decided to not sleep in the van but upstairs and it was a big mistake as everything was such a darned mess and it was nigh on impossible to find anything!

We have lived in all our houses when renovating including one, a six bedroomed ex brothel that was deemed unfit for human habitation by the D.O.E, I was doing the renovating so it was so much easier - and we didn't have a mh then!
Our present house is being done by a one man band builder who is extremely good at what he does. All the internal walls are being removed apart from three, we are creating a lounge/diner/kitchen. We are also doing a loft conversion so you will know what a filthy job this is.
If I could still do the work I would but age and health won't allow, it's very frustrating watching my hard earned going into someone else's pocket for doing the very same thing I was once capable of but that's life.

As much as it pains me enormously to say this, out of all the wilders I have met, you and Jenny are the ones I know have made all the right choices in your lives and the ones who I feel envious of. You both owe an enormous debt of gratitude to your accountant for pointing you in the right direction.
If you wish to buy that wonderful man a bottle of whisky as a thank you, I will gladly seek him out on your behalf and hand it to him.

Honest.:p:blah:

Awww! Bless you, Young'un.

You're not doing bad yourselves, in spite of our bad influence..
.
Alas, after that manhole related incident,( which I've nearly forgotten about ), I'm not impressed by you using the words.. "Honest" and " Whisky", in the same sentence.
Nice try, tho.

£450 a month rent would get a little house round here - but then you would also have £120 a month council tax, water rates, electric, insurance & gas to pay - which would double it.

You should all move here, much less money to hand out.
