I had a price to fit a 100w panel to my MH and a ball park figure was £750 Inc labour.
Decided to bite the bullet and do it myself, bought a 120w panel kit Inc controller , all done for £160 Inc Sikaflex.
Now THAT,S a saving.

We paid something 245 for 120w or 140w panel cant remember which, controller and fitting

. Makes you wonder what the hourly rate is £££££.
 
SAP of Doncaster will do the panel for you and we get a 5% discount.

Good luck Baz, see what they say. I am glad I didn’t go with local firm when I knew nothing about it, I ended up with 2 x 150w panels, fixings, cables, adhesives, decent mppt controller and three new batteries for half what they wanted for fitting a 120w panel.

I couldn’t do the roof part but son in law climbed up so no problems in the end. You won’t fall for this lol

Well I suppose a company has to add something for any claims that may arise. I wouldn’t like to drill or cut holes in someone’s new van then have them say they didn’t want it there lol.

In our case the labour worked out at about £750 for fitting one panel and me supplying the controller so was definitely a rip off. Was almost a grand quite so I am being generous for a panel, cable and fixings lol.

There will be plenty that do a good job for a good value price though Baz if you need to get a company that do it to please insurance. 👍
