1 How do I open the water filler cap ?

I am assuming that it is like a petrol filler cap when the key is turned and taken out the cap just spins in either direction .

when the key is left in, the cap becomes hard to turn ( like last years pickle jar )

But no matter how I turn it it wont budge

2 How do I flush the loo

My Merlin is fitted with a thetford cassette toilet and I have never used one before so I dont know how too .
I have worked out how to empty it so the smelly bit is no problem

does the small tank above the removable waste tank just hold the cleaner chemicals ?

is there a seperate water tank for flushing or does the flushing water come from the main tank ?

On ours the cap spins when it is locked. To unlock, insert the key and turn it to the left then remove the key. Twist the cap to the left and it should come out.

You can download Owner Manuals & Installation Instructions from The Thetford Web Site which should tell you all you need to know.

Thanks Graham

I hit the filler cap with a hammer and screwdriver and it came off it was full of muck causing it to stick .

I have downloaded the manuals and I will read them later

Re: The Loo

Just put clean water in the top tank, some of the flushing agents can perish the seals.

Then add some 'Blue' to the bottom tank when empty, or pour in via the bowl.
