Screen Covers

Yep, I’ve got a set of Black ones, They are BRILLIANT in my view, Although I really only use them if I intend staying at a park up for Two nights or more, (I just use my Internal ones for over night stops). I’ve got the ‘Privercy Mesh’ addition for the Main Windshield & I can honestly say that they are VERY well made, I received mine VERY quickly when I ordered them, They arrived well packaged & the Company was Brilliant to work with. They Fit a Treat, Have Instant Noise Deadening property’s as well as Fantastic insulation properties as you might expect, & I have experienced absolutely NO condensation on any of the cab windows when fitted, I paid £145 ish, My mate orders exactly the same as me for the same price for his Brand New Motorhome & Well chuffed as am I.

Must admit I like the look of those.... Especially at the price and in black....
Wonder how much more they absorb heat in summer though compared to silver ones....

Yes I don't think I'd have the black ones for that reason

They really don’t transfer or absorb that much heat from the outside in so to say as far as I’ve noticed anyway, They are very thickly padded, & have A Silver side to the Glass. All I’ve ever noticed is Lack of Noise, & Tremendous Heat retaining in the cab area !.

I did suspect as much.... I've been really happy with the Taylormade externals that we have for the transit...
But the thick end of £175 for a set for the Ducato is a tad steep for the moment....
And the black does look very smart.
 
I think this company have van comfort carry their work out for them and 8 years later mine are still working well.
 
Bought a set of these a couple of years ago, only problem was they occasionally blew off, unlike Silver screens we've had they didn't have any ties on the bottom. What could happen (this is to be fair in very high winds we've had here 50-70mph) the wind could get under the blind & lift it off the door. Had a bit of material & sewed a couple of ties on the corner just to secure it to the door handle so no problems since.
Found getting the screens form Polar very quick.

I had a similar problem with lifting off so I went back and they added three strange type of press studs but it meant gluing the back of the stud to the bodywork.

Well mine arrived today 24hr delivery by DPD. Seems like a good quality set of screens easily compatible with SS or TM of which I've had both.

It’s like most things it works for some NOT for others, but if they are Polor ones I’m sure you’re going to be happy with them, Did you go for the ‘Privacy Mesh’ option?.
In fact if you look at the Testemonials page on their page, 01/12/18 THATS my input !.

Some years ago the son of J&M (Silverscreens) was trading thermal screens separately from his parents-is this him?

No didn't bother with the Priv Mesh also have the silver outside. Will start using them daily in a few weeks and will give a report in due course
 
screen covers

Notice on their e-bay advert mention (twice and in red) of REMIS blinds. Can someone advise - what is a remis blind and does not having one mean you cant use their screen cover ?

Remis blinds are the fixed internal sliding blinds which some vans have If you have them they increase the doors thickness at the top so they supply you with the correct door panels to fit over You just need when ordering to let them know if you have them or not. They then supply you with the correct blinds
