were are the best places to go in Scotland with a 28 feet camper can you help please

Don’t know if it’s still open but used to be a lovely site just outside Dingwell with plenty of room.

Turn left at Glasgow to Greenock and Gourock. Take the ferry to Dunoon. No need to book. About 45 quid. Go round Inverary Lochgilphead up past Kilmartin up to Oban Go up to Corran take ferry to Ardgour. No need to book under 20 quid. Go out through Strontian to Glenuig out to Mallaig . Book ferry to Skye. How long you got?

april and were coming from Dewsbury for 2 weeks

Ok well April gives you the option of both east and west coasts, after mid may the midges on the west coast can be a problem.
From Dewsbury you could head for one of the border towns, there are good carparks in Kelso, Peebles, Hawick and Melrose all worth a visit, Melrose abbey is a must see. Then head north east to say cellardyke next to anstruther. From there you can do some nice walks along the fife coastal walk, or go over to the isle of may from anstruther, book in advance online. Then Stonehaven has much to offer. You could wild camp or if you want to empty the toilet etc the caravan and Motorhome club have a site in the town. From stonehaven it’s a short bus ride into Aberdeen or the coast offers nice walks. Inverness could be your next visit, from there you could head up to Thurso then head west to Durness.
There are lots of places on the west of Scotland to many to mention.
Look at the online map on here, most of the pois have photos were you can look at the carparks lay byes etc. But Ullapool, Gairloch, Oban, area all worth a visit. I can recommend the campsite at morvich it’s in a gorgeous setting.
Spend some time looking at the online map, plan your stays.
We are not blessed with many places to empty your toilet and grey water possibly three nights wild camping then one in a sight might be a good idea.
If you fancy the islands book ferries in advance, and remember the ferries can be affected by the weather.

enjoy Scotland it’s a gem for wild camping.
