Are you being bombarded by Pump-King emails. About 20 fuel price messages received already this morning, Grrrr! Tried calling...nobody there, email address doesn’t work. Thinking of ditching the account, everything is a cock-up, no longer trust them with my card details.

yeah, i've had 60 so far and have disabled my message notifications because it's so irritating. I like you thought i would unsubscribe however their web site is down so cant do that either just now. The irony is I ordered the card 3 weeks ago and it still has not arrived. NOW I dont want it and dont trust them with my details so will unsubscribe as soon as i can.:(

Same here... one text per minute since about 11am! :rolleyes2:

Their website has since gone down, so I expect everyone has been logging on to stop text alerts. I've managed to block them on my phone via message settings.
All of which makes me really glad I've not used their card yet!

Same here

Endless text messages which seem to come through even though I have blocked them on the iPhone. Website down so nothing can be done, very concerned that this is a hack attack with bank details being held by them. Checking the prices it seems within fractions of local supermarkets anyway plus anything bought by Pump King is on a debit card whereas you can just drive down to the local supermarket and use a credit card. Just doesn't seem worth the hassle.

I'm passing through the Lakes. Not the cheapest area for fuel, but the three Esso stations I've seen have all been a good bit less than the Pump King offer. Which I now know off by heart.

Mine still hasn`t turned up despite ordering it on the 7th November 2018 back in the olden days.

I`ve emailed them and told them to stick it up their arse, not surprisingly they haven`t answered that one either.

The debit card that was linked to the account is now defunct so no worries there.

I would suggest anyone who has provided any payment details (card, bank account, etc) should proactively contact their card supplier or bank ASAP as it sounds to me their system has been hacked and your details compromised.

I'm not so convinced they've been hacked to be honest, just maybe their messaging system has gone a bit bonkers and is stuck in a loop.
The website being down is likely just excessive demand... everyone who was getting the texts would head to their accounts to switch off alerts. It was definitely available when the repeat texts first started for me at 11am because I visited to see if I could find a contact number. The messages have stopped but the website is still down.

Even if I wanted to cancel my bank card, I can't remember which one I registered with them, so I'll have to wait for the website to come back!! :rolleyes2:

a quick google doesnt inspire me with confidence frankly ...

I agree, I'll never use them now anyway but, to be scrupulously fair, all those reviews were written today. Understandably, everyone is annoyed but basically just guessing what's happened.

The website's back by the way. I almost unsubscribed but the message said it would mean all my data would stay linked to my account anyway and couldn't be changed, so I didn't bother... just changed a few salient details. There's no facility to 'unlink' your registered payment card, which is poor service for customers but I guess it's fraud prevention for the company.
