In the end I think Richid got feed up of me. But basically they removed the MH profile even though they said I could keep using all my settings whilst they update their app.

Thanks Sharon, I know it’s not the best but it’s our back up Ron uses his Satnav if that goes funny I click in with CoPilote. The fight was just about the injustice anyways lovely to hear from you hope all is sunny side up xx

Caravan

Despite the dreadful reviews my love of the Truck version persuaded me to invest in the caravan app but it makes me wonder if the developer actually tried it. My problem is on my iPad at switch on it goes straight into vehicle profiles and the only way out of it seems to be to create a new one and then yes i can navigate put what a pain. Has any body experienced this and found a solution ?

I won’t be using mine for a few weeks as we are in a hotel will have a quick look though. I use my iPhone 6s for CoPilote. The reviews said it freezes a lot as well.

Tried it a few times I get this screen when I open the app up


Raise a ticket with them they take about a day to reply.

Yes i get that screen but not after creating a new profile and i have filled in a ticket and had a reply wanting me to send them a video, So have to try to work that out lol. Thanks for your interest Malc.

Have you tried delaying the app and reinstalling ?
Couldn’t you just take some screen shots ?

Thinking about it couldn’t you use your truck one with two profiles ?

Well the help from them was just to send a link to their instructions that i had gone over many times previous but a friend of mine persevered with it this afternoon and using different logins etc managed to get it to work. I don't fully understand the reasons why i just purchased it and expected it to work but seems as though its ok now. It is better for me to have everything on the same device less wires etc.

It was odd how it kept introducing its self as copilot truck when i had deleted that so must have been some mix up but i think my friend has used my Apple id as a log in which i was not to happy about but, So maybe the new app is simply the old one with a few bits removed to try to get more money in, As yet i don't see any advantage and using the same log confuses the programme maybe who knows but hey its working and they did some useful updates on the truck one so hopefully that continues and i can forget about this saga. Happy days.

After all that the appearance of the Caravan app that i had just got working changed to much like the truck app i tried it liked it put i had not knowingly updated it. Puzzled but yes i thought it has features that i liked so great, I spotted how to check if i had the latest software and the number went into "about" not the same so back to the sight to check says there are not going to be any further updates on the caravan app and to change to copilot gps. I am thinking what i have only just paid for this so goes to app store and its free ! free to everybody so i paid £35 for caravan app for a few weeks when i didn't need it to find out there's a new one free with the profile !!
