So many of you have contacted me over the past few months asking for info on the Islands I was wondering if you visited and what you thought of it, any comments, good or bad would be appreciated so that future enquirers could be kept up to date.

What do we think of the Western Isles? A magical place. Thoroughly recommend to anyone who hasn't been. In fact we're travelling back again next week. Is it still fairly quiet there at the moment GD?

Amazing place, we went last june for 5 weeks, a trip of a lifetime for me, just love the place,

You cant please everybody - are you sure they were locals and not incomers!!!

Just love the Outer Hebrideas, been holidaying there for almost 30 years in tents and campervans. Islanders are very friendly. Beaches and landscapes are second to none. Ferry prices are reasonable too, even before RET.
