What I'm wondering, saves you 5 minutes a day? omg how many people use your loo that it needs emptying every day? Also have you taken into account how many minutes are spent decanting blue into smaller bottles?:D I much prefer using good old soap and water, after emptying loo, dislike hand wash liquid.

wash dishes in bowl then empty in to toilet, not the dishes but the residue ok,pj ps be-cer-ful,of the car -bolick.

We have found that when we are wilding we can extend the time between emptying by doing what the Greeks do and put the toilet paper in a bin which we keep in the toilet.
This gives us about a day or two extra and also makes the emptying easier.

The problem seems to be that these modern cassettes are no bigger than an old fashioned potty or "goes under". Absolutely useless for anything other than staying on a campsite. Another reason to keep my old van.

To agree with many and add

1 Use a doggy bag for tissues ESPECIALLY wet wipes
2 The male can sometimes easily make other arrangements
3 Both can make use of Public toilets or the like.
4 Our cassette is a good size so maybe 3 days
5 Buy an Extra waste unit eg an ALDI tank (£10)

With regard to No 5 (Not Nos 1 or 2) we have found the "ALDI tank" extremely useful for dealing with Grey water
and SO FAR ( 1 summer ) have never had to empty our cassette into it .
If we needed to use it (Aldi Tank) I would "Decant Carefully" and then Flush flush flush

I have read that some pooh into cling film (in the toilet) and then dispose into a doggy bag

PS we wild as much as we can and only once in 5 years have we come near to a problem...
But we have a decent size cassette ( as above)

We also empty daily if we can (usually)

This maybe my THIRD (as in Richard the...) post on such a topic

A rectangular

whats an aldi tank

Plastic tank about 2x the size of a cassette
A bit like a plastic Jerrycan
2 big screw caps so you can lie it on it's side for grey water input
and at the top for emptying a Carry handle
Bought from ALDI in a sale

Lavvy

I just empty and wash out the cassette then refit, go in the van open flap and drop a couple of tablets in then a flush. Have never done more than that and works fine

Never quite got the sense of adding water...other ahem more natural liquids do the job fine

So you keep the paper in a bin inside the toilet,is that not the same as putting it down the toilet.:lol-053:

Some of the big campers made in USA have under slung toilet waste holding tanks, then again have you seen the size of there burgers.:scared:

We pee in a good quality English lidded bucket & this goes out with the waste water into a bush, hedgerow or drain in the (early) mornings.

We have managed to go 9 days on one cassette, but this is when travelling, if stationary one could end up with the "Pyramid Problem"!

Gave up the harmful blue chemicals years ago, now use Tesco bio washing tablets, interior of cassette is spotless & no pong.
