Can people refrain from posting anything that contains so called information. Anything with words such as may, could, possibly, might etc. This is just conjecture and is not helping the situation, or helping others to make decisions. Please post only what you know personally to be true at the time, such as; right now I'm on a paid Aire in Peniche and it's still open for business. Thank you.

Still in sunny Portugal I’ve been looking for information of how to treat yourself if contracting the virus. Can’t find any on NHS of Gov uk sites. Other than self isolation. I’ll treat it like flu, if the worse comes to the worse. Unless you know better 😬

Agree, for instance does anyone have experience of fuel stations and toll booths in France or Spain actually closed?

Daily mail today I can't comment on the situation in France but the claim that Brittany Ferries have cancelled all sailings from Spain until 9th April is wrong. The only ferry not operating is the Pont Aven and that is for reasons other than corona virus.

The only ferry not operating is the Pont Aven and that is for reasons other than corona virus. We had an email from Brittany Ferries advising that the normal service timetable would not necessarily be in operation for the foreseeable future and to check on any bookings for updates. The main explanation is that all Brittany Ferry ships have French crews and in the event of crew members being affected themselves or needing to look after immediate family, the company were being pro-active in ensuring that the available crews could cope with a reduced timetable.

Starts with a cough, rise in temperature, shortage of breath. If the breathing gets bad you need a hospital quick.

Having had to call 112 Portuguese emergencies last year, I would recommend you always have a list of medication, a translation of important medical history and, as qfour says, know exactly where you are. You may have to speak to main call centre and then to the local area service.
