Parked up at Skatas in a large rural car park near Gothenburg for the night, a van pulls in, drives round, drives out. 20 minutes later it's back and parks 2 doors down.
Fast forward, 7am this morning, much clattering and banging I am awoken, they're off I thought, 7:15am engine starts,7:30am it's still running and they are having breakfast, b#gger. So up we get and drive to the furthest reaches of the carpark. They've still got the engine running an hour later.

Far from the madding crowd.

What did they say when you asked them to turn their engine off?

Norweigans speak good English sing them a song about a one eyed Norweigan with sticking out ears

Channa

Probably weren't Norwegian then as most Norwegians are not only terminally polite but also speak English.

Oh, alright then, I admit it I didn't ask, the carpark was big so it was easier just to move. We're not all confrontational.
:raofl:

The Swedish are just as bad. We had some next to us on a campsite in Spain. Every Swedish MH that turned up got invited found for drinks. As it's so expensive at home they go on a bit of a bender. Started before 12am and still going strong when we went to bed.

Noisy Norweigiens

Surely this could happen anywhere and with any nationality.

Of course it could and does. It could easily been cacophonous Chechs or rackety Rumanians, no offence intended, (I couldn't think of a suitable English one).

PS. The other day another Norwegian was sat with his engine running in the carpark at Skagan,( we were parked nowhere near), and it was the middle of the afternoon. Coincidence ........... Probably.
