Hello to faces old and new.
We (the Royal we) have decided that it’s about time we gave up eurotouring and go back to our roots and really explore the UK.
We’ve been camping, caravanning, motorhoming and backpacking since 1970 and thoroughly enjoyed the lifetime’s experience.
Upgrading (?) to a Motorhome was our dream which we able to achieve on our retirement. It hasn’t gathered any dust! We seemed to have spent more time in Europe than the UK doing two or three long trips each year.
For the last 4 years we have overwintered in Portugal, both touring and static.

Welcome.
Enjoy your Motorhoming.
.

Portugal...?
Terrible place...
Full of foreigners.
Can get decent fish and Chips..
The beer is too strong and too cheap... Can't be any good, at those prices. Ditto the wine, cheese, bread, Sea Bass
We bought our first van to escape the Millennium bug.
Been here , more or less, ever since.
Still trying to evade a more threatening bug..
Couldn't be safer.

Awful place! All that sun. Portuguese being so friendly and helpful. Those terribly huge restaurant meals. Cheap beer, wine and spirits. Don’t know how we put up with it for so long!
