The Leisure Seeker is a 2017 comedy-drama film directed by Paolo Virzì,

in his first full English-language feature.

The film is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Michael Zadoorian. It stars Donald Sutherland and Helen Mirren,

for the first time acting together since the 1990 film Bethune: The Making of a Hero. It was screened in the main competition section of the 74th Venice International Film Festival. Mirren received a Golden Globe nomination for her work in the film.

Great , I am going to see that, we went to the Cinema last week, saw Peter Rabbit, good film , great animation, enjoyed it our prefered Cinema is adjacent to a Wetherspoons and it was Curry club night so a good evening was had.

My daughter sent us the link, and i replied that will be us in 20 years time, her response was "that's you now". Very dry.

I watched this film the other day.

Had the usual funny, sad, poignant, etc. bits in. Might seem a strange thing to say but I while I think it was a good film, I really didn't enjoy it and won't be looking to watch again.
