Multimeters and how to use them

For 240v socket testing a test plug (£5-£10) is even easier ... and a lot safer.

When I was working in Oman I loaned out my tester and the idiot dropped it from a great height and broke it.

The word got round and everywhere I went the lads were shouting "Bing bong, AVO falling" (instead of bing bong, Avon calling).

Good for testing old style bulbs and also fuses, could not work with out one,can be bought on ebay for less than £5
