Lock up your bikes

I always lock the bikes to the rack usually put the cover on as well even though our old bikes wouldn't fetch a fiver for the pair. The electric bikes we have when I do carry them on the back are also locked with the batteries removed. Even a cheap lock will at least slow a thief up but if your bikes are expensive it's foolish not to have some adequate security. In the video you would have thought one of the cars behind would have at least flashed his lights or blown his horn to alert the motorhome driver.
 
Smack head

Looked like a smack head to me, horrid thieving scumbag would have sold it for a tenner if he had managed to Nick it
 
Seen the video a few times now. Good to see that the camera got good footage of the face of the thief. If I had been driving the black car behind I would have accidentally run over the wheel of the thief’s bike as it laid in the road. No doubt it was stolen also.

As Scrag said "Looked like a smack head to me". Why do we tolerate these people? Imagine what he would do if he saw your granny with her pension???

Good thinking, I only ever remove the Batteries and lock/chain the bikes. I do always put a cover over the bikes too.
