Wild camping since we got our wonderful motorhome 20 years ago !!!! Am in despair with everyone getting vans and not treating the countryside with respect. Is it worth trying to find wild camping sites this year.​

Absolutely yes, if people like you and other members who camp responsibly stop wildcamping then eventually the ridiculous belief that 'all wildcampers abuse the environment ' will end up being true. Now, probably more than ever it is crucial that the public see that we can camp with no detriment to the site and can even help maintain it.

Keep away from popular seaside places,find somewhere quiet inland.

We've just had two weeks in Scotland still managed to find places on our own most nights.
