The software flags certain posts that it believes may be spam or against the rules. I then check them each day and approve them.
This an important feature, there are many "forum posting" companies now that employ people to post spam so that they get around most of the anti-bot security.

Thanks for sorting that Phil i see the posts now. I too think it's a good idea that new members have restrictions on posting links to stop possible spamming, but surely after a set period of time or a certain number of posts the bonified members can be taken off the blacklist?
On hitting the back button the editor was blank both times, could be to do with IE, it's far from being the browser of choice - i hate it. In the past I used chrome right back to the early beta versions it was always lighting fast and caused no problems. But more recently there have been conflicts crashing various IE reliant software/games that I think was to do with the 2 browsers. On the last reboot I didn't bother adding any other browser, things are slower and more annoying with IE but always get there in the end.
I think in the future copy/paste is a good idea when typing anything more than one liners but as Phil says, any messages will be approved eventually.
