L3 h2 anyone ordered a new one ?

Hopefully my coach built will be sold this week ,and I'm looking for a new l3 h2 on one of the Seville based vans but looking around on the web discounts seem to vary widely on new ones ,has anyone recently ordered one or has any tips as this will be first ever brand new vehicle
How easy is it haggling with the big companies and will the warranty still be valid when I've cut holes in the rooof and sides :o
 
Sometimes when we are focused on what we are doing we think everyone else knows what we have researched.
I for one do not know!
I however is interested your proposal.
Please help me by explaining to inexperienced self?

Its the Citroen ,fiat and Peugeot vans that are all made in the same factory l3 means long wheel base h2 is medium height
It's what the professional panel van converters use but most are using the l4 models now extra long wheel base
So if any one has tips for dealing with the main dealers I d be happy to know

When I bought my van a L1 H1 Relay i found the cheapest internet deal and went down to my local dealer and asked them to match it which they did.

This may be too late to be of help but we ordered a brand new L4H2 Peugeot Boxer van last year. Looked at internet options but some drawbacks in that the internet companies we looked at dont give you the registration documents straight away (something to do with the way they bulk purchase the vehicles as fleet vans from manufacturers and then have restriction on re-sale. Questions arose about insuring the vehicle if not actually listed as the owner etc etc.
Also we wanted 'professional' version of the van with cruise control and air con and we also wanted single passenger seat, passenger airbag and no bulkhead (although the passenger seat and bulkhead are easily resolved). So we talked to our local dealers- our closest would not even get close to matching the internet price but we looked a bit furtehr afield to next county and found John Grose dealer who would give a generous discount on the base professional van- including discounting the extras- which actually made the OTR price hardly any more than the cheapest internet price we coudl find. We had advantage of dealling with main dealer who was only an hour drive away so we could pick up the van and they could sort out any warrantly issues (not that we have had any thankfully). Biggest downside was that we had to wait months for the van to arrive in the UK as was a factory order.

Conversion now part way through so hope to be out there this summer using the van!!

That's what I did with my van, lots of extras including fog lamps, headlamp washers, passenger airbag, single seat. Mine was an L1 H1 bonus was because going through the dealer I could choose the colour as well.
 
in my humble opinion....

we have just bought a H2L3 citroen although not new but we did look at the new ones.

if money was no object i would have bought a citroen 2,2hdi, h2l3 enterprise. the L3 is 6 metres and any longer will be much more expensive on the ferrys and parking in on road parking spaces would be prohibitive with the L4. the enterprise has the handsfree kit sat nav and aircon. our budget led us to a 2012 standard van , as for economy.... we are getting 40.8 miles per gallon which I'm happy with as its about the same as my car, so can't complain considering its size. ours had a limiter on. but that took 2 days to find its way to the bin, a motorway sneaky push on the accelerator saw the speedo well into the 90s, but the rev counter only close to 3000 so the performance is fairly good, after all its a van. one of the deciding factors for a citroen was the galvanised body so the paint chips don't rust, and as for longevity, my nephew was driving a citroen ambulance recently with over 300,00 on the clock. if i could change anything it would be automatic or 4 gears, 6 gears is too many.... but i think that about my car.
