I had 15 seconds of fame once while at Sheffield indoor arena watching an indoor motorcycle trials event!
Our shops Pitchside advertising board at our beloved Port Vale FC gets quite a lot of coverage on "match of the day's Football league show" does that count? :)

I was on the local news once after a neighbour was killed in a fire. It was dreadfully embarrassing, this bloke knocked on the door while I was having lunch and started asking me questions. I was sure I had a bit of lettuce stuck in my teeth!! Fortunately I missed seeing the broadcast. Good luck with the doggie, Cooljules.

the last show was 05, it was with that Queintin willson, who on tv comes across a snobby obnocious prat, but in reality hes a really nice down to earth guy, got on really well with him, that Justin and Colin tv lifetyle (so called) celebs. was a good laugh. its repeated almost every week on one channel or another, inc sold to other counties.

not heard owt back about the dog proggy yet, but thats normal until the cut off point for applications.
