Test the offending marks with the edge of your fingernail. If it's staining like he's saying everything will be smooth and you won't be able to feel an edge, if it's glue etc you will and if this is the case then you should consider a further complaint. The job wasn't cheap and if he's been careless and daubed glue over the window too then perhaps you deserve either the whole thing gets done properly or you get some discount?

My mates son-in-law found over 300 snags with their new house. The main one being no damp course put in!

I purchased a motorhome about 15 years ago, from a very large and well known dealership with quite a few outlets beginning with ‘M’, a year old van that had an eberspacher diesel heater fitted, for habitation heating and hot water.
The heater and heat exchanger were in a box, and a standard fitting from new by the converter. The heater would run for around 2 mins then cut out. The Manager, on me taking the vehicle back multiple times, they had butchered the battery box and fitted huge cables feeding the unit, a car type earth strap, a new ECU to the unit, a new control unit, both of which I had to travel to some 20 miles away each time and wait for these to be replaced, stated it was it was because it was ‘up to temperature with the hab door open’. DUH!!
After over 6 months of taking the van back (the dealership was about 6 miles away, and I had done almost 500 miles back and forth), they eventually and very reluctantly called out an Eberspacher engineer.
He took one look at it, said the box was too near an end panel that was restricting the air flow, so the unit shut down through lack of air. Four screws securing the unit, moved back an inch and re-screwed the box to the floor, 10 mins at most, and it worked perfectly.
They Dealership, when I demanded some compensation for my fuel, wasted time, inconvenience etc., eventually offered me £50. I impolitely told them where to stick it, and got my ‘money’s worth’ by making it known on Social Media, and discouraged at least ½ doz sales.

And converters don't give a £$%^ about what the appliance installation instruction say either, We had a van that had zero dropout vents except in the gas locker, it had a loads of compression joints in the gas piping too, and each of those should have a dropout vent.

But it was standard fitting in the van!Most dealers don’t know much about fitting things that aren’t standard fare in the vans they specialise in. I am being generous with my comment at that

I wouldn’t trust Marquis or any other dealer beginning with M to work on my Eberspacher or my gas system. I am biased as I wouldn’t use a dealer unless I had to under warranty which you did. The outcome of your problem illustrates why I wouldn’t use a dealer.
I am aware of the problem of putting a bend too close to the heater outlet as I tried to make some changed with mine. My little controller (801 I think) will display fault codes and that identified it was what I had done. May be worth checking if you can display fault codes if you don’t already know.

This was 15 years ago, and a different van to now. I was just pointing out how useless they were, and probably still are. It was warranty work, so unless I paid I had no option.

See what they say it's their place to have it fitting correctly But one of ours was never right I was satisfied with how it shut touched the seal all round and close to the van body just tight to close on the catch's so I fixed that by filing off some of the catch's closing faces
