Tonight i mourn the loss of my best buddy, I have lost my soulmate, aged 52, walked upstairs to bed, had a heart attack, gone, i am devastated, its so so sad, my heart goes out to his family and all who knew him. He was a HGV driver and has just passed his medical, fit as a fiddle, didn't drink or smoke, he was on 2 weeks holiday, was due to back to work Monday, just thank god he wasn't on the road in his truck, goodnight godbless Jim, love you loads, R.I.P

What a terrible shock and a real tragedy to die so young - you would normally expect another 20 or 30 years at least.

This happened to my middle brother too - it's really hard to deal with at the time and the only consolation we had was that at least he hadn't suffered and lingered for months like my eldest brother had with cancer. Not much consolation when you've just lost someone you love very much but it did help a little bit!

I'll be thinking of you Jen, and his family too.

Its always horrible to lose someone close to you but we all have to go and one sharp pain and its all over is one of the best ways to go. His family and you may need a while before they can think like that though. My very best wishes.

Thank you xx, yes these are my thoughts too, although very sudden and so young, he didnt suffer, we all want to go that way i'm sure xx

Thank you xx, I agree with you totally, it just makes you think about life and how precious and short it can be, so we must live life to the full, i dont know how i would have coped if he was suffering, so yes its the best way to go. xx

Jen,

I have just spent three quarters of an hour talking to my mum on a mobile phone from France. I am aware of the cost but I know I wont have her forever.

Your sobering sad news has just proved that, And I am right to just let her chat about whatever seems important to her .You never know what the next hour brings.

I hope I am making sense and my condolencies at this time of your loss

Words can't express the sorrow & loss you are feeling.

Whilst most of us have never met, we all suffer your loss.
