Just been to my local post office to enquire about the International Driving Permits that we may need after ******, Our Post Office are issueing them from 1st FEB and cost £5-50 each and are valid for 1 year, you must produce your UK Driving licence, Passport or photo evidence of I.D. and a signed passport type photo [ per IDP ] to obtain them , France is different to Spain so two needed, it seems that the Spanish one is compatible with Portugal [ type F ] so I am going to get both as we are hoping to get over there early Feb. The post office said that you can obtain the IDP 3 months before your travel dates and the will date them accordingly, all this seems to apply only if we have a NO deal ******.
