My son has bought a Boxer van for conversion and I'm wondering what components are required to implement a system on a tight budget.
I have given him a Sterling B2B battery charger which was redundant in my garage and he has ordered a 200w solar panel kit from Amazon. Does he still need a split charge system. Also what does he need to have 240 volt hookup etc. It's a blank canvass.

He intends to run a 12 volt fridge, 12 volt fan on a diesel heater, lights, charge phones and laptop. Any help greatly appreciated.

When I was at the library last week I noticed they had a Haynes manual written by John Wickersham, "Build your own motorhome".

Good solar mppt regulator to charge engine and les batteries, deck gland to bring cables from panel in,mains trip/fuse box and some 12/5v sockets and a battery voltage monitors, and a 12v led fuse block, some led lights and pos some switches
