Hatchlands Park

We are off to Hatchlands Park near Guildford at the weekend. I see there is a layby just up the road at West Horsley in the POI's. Anyone with experience of this place?

Is the CR/LR Newlands Corner still in use? I can't see it on my latest poi (It's in an old one from 2013)

Any other places nearby recommended?
