Gubbins to charge van battery

A 10/ 20 watt solar in windshield plugged in will do,point her into sun,it should give up to about 1 amps over about 3/5 hrs which will keep batt up.

Trevor I have got one of these,

but these are a complete waste of time and money.

Thanks everyone for your help. Strolling round Aldi this morning and saw a solar charger for £14, so I bought it Solar Charger 12v - ALDI UK
It may not be the ideal solution, but I lack the confidence to fiddle with electricary, so we'll see, eh. I have made a lead up to charge via the cigar lighter too

They are useless thats because its 1.5 w ,it should be amps which is about 20/35 watts,about 4/5 times the size.
So many folk get mixed up with this,remember size does matter.:scared::lol-049::lol-049:

What suits one person as a trickle charger shouldn't be a cause for ridicule, the one that I've just bought is only 4w, which is the same as my motorcycle trickle charger's maximum output
