Going to South Africa

We were going to hire a motorhome and do the Route 66 for a month this winter, still hoping to do it sometime in the future, but can’t see it happening for a couple of years yet

Did Route 66 in 2015, if you can get there just do it don’t do it in 2 weeks, take at least a month and stop and meet people etc

I have been to Zim and RSA
Zim was lovely but it was just before Eee ba Gum etc

RSA is huge and good.
Just to suggest animal parks and motorhomes do not mix well.
Also RSA has some dodgy areas (as do so many countries) so just avoid them
