Glen Brittle Campsite

I know this is a wild camping website but sometimes we might need to stay on a site.

Just to let you know that the campsite in Glen Brittle on Skye doesn't have any facility for emptying the chemical loo.

So be prepared to pay top price and you have to pay for your pooch too.

Had we known both of those facts we wouldn't have stayed but the office was closed when we arrived last night and didn't find out until we went to pay this morning.

Forgot to mention that the pitch price (£13.80) wasn't including ehu. According to a review on uk camping they charge £5

That site has been ripping people off for years, one of the main reasons I went wilding in the first place!
I think he could justify charging for the view.

At the other end of the scale and for those of you who need a campsite on occasion I 'd like to reccomend my friends at http://www.cornwall-online.co.uk/penvose-farm/ Loads of space, their own natural water supply, fishing lakes, all the facilities, really friendly people and good value at £6 per person (£9 in peak season) + £4 for elecrtic hook-up.
