Blockades of fuel depots by construction workers in France has resulted in petrol shortages in certain parts of the country, especially the west. This interactive map might be useful if you are looking for fuel (but don't panic).

It would appear that a number of blockades in Brittany were lifted earlier this week, so the situation there may be improving. The map to which thelocal.fr links is at https://penurie.mon-essence.fr/w/ and of course there are also the essence&co apps for which there are links on the map.
While the density of filling stations with low or zero stocks may at first sight seem horrific, zooming in reveals that the situation is generally not that bad.

We have just traveled through France, from Spain spending a few days near Bordeaux, we didn't have any problems. We arrived home Monday. Is this problem since then?

Saw yellow jackets at 2 round abouts Fougeres and Moulins had a few cars stopped but looked like their supporters gave us a wave when we gave them a toot on horn
