Fridge light cover

I have a Dometic 8505 aes fridge freezer. The light has been flashing and the acoustic has been sounding. It appears yet again to be water/condensation behind the internal light cover. I understand this cover is meant to snap on/off however when I have tried to remove it to aid drying it doesn’t want to come off and I am loathe to just keep tugging in case it snaps as replacements are devilish expensive can any one give me any advice as to the removal of this item please

I have pushed paper towel behind the cover and then left door open for the last 3 hours but still not dry enough as the acoustic still sounds after a few minutes of closing the door. I need to get that cover off

Thanks I did just that and have finally removed cover. Hopefully it will dry out now
