hi there - can anyone advise on fitting of a top box to the roof of a motorhome - where and how to fix with what type of screws etc?

The aluminium fixing bar 240cm long can be shortened to the required length.
Kit includes: 1 bar and 2 white end caps. To be placed on the Motorhome or Caravan roof.

I thought there was a proper way.
I sat the box on some ribbed bits of the roof and used some roofing fixings - basically a screw with a rubber washer - So when the screw tightens up, the washer flattens and it worked great!

I have fitted one to a panel van right through the roof and truss, and tightened down onto spreader plates. I'm not sure of the camper roof construction, so do I drill all the way through and bolt down or just screw into the roof material?
