Eurotunnel Strike on Monday

Eurotunnel French employees are threatening strike action on August Bank Holiday Monday. Ticket sales have been suspended. British staffed trains should still provide a limited service. Ferries are unaffected but busy so book now. Best to use A2/M2 route to Dover as delays at Eurotunnel will result in congestion on M20.


Eurotunnel advise those with bookings to go to the Eurotunnel terminal as normal and every effort will be made to get them on board. More at the Eurotunnel site http://bit.ly/strikeeuro

I was just discussing with my daughter whether or not to take her over this week end to see her mum. your post came at a very opportune moment, thanks. I didn't want to go and didn't know how to get out of it.:lol-053: After all her Mum can fly over here for free, broomsticks don't cost anything to run:p
