European trip 2011. Villemoura, Portugal

We are parked behind the Hotel (Hotel Tivoli) The Marina is in front of the hotel. The beach is only 50 metres. No real parking for Campers, except this place which is hidden of the road. Beautiful beach, I used the showers behind the beach restaurant, also water for the tanks (not drinking water) This spot is really a service road for the hotel. Found it by chance. Get to Villemoura, once there, drive over the zebra crossing, a sharp left & then left turn, follow the road and take the first right. End of this road is a dead end with a small island to turn around. At this point there is a service road on your right, take it and it brings you to where the Camper is parked. No hassle staying here. Very safe. A large bin as seen in the picture stands there permanently. Evening life here is fantastic. Walk to wards the hotel along the road and it brings you out in front of the Marina, from then on it is full of life, It is a British holiday maker's dream, 95º of the languages you hear is English. Not really are scene. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed it.

A view of the Marima. Everything you need is here but found them to be quite pricey as they cater for the tourist.

We normally wild at Quateira ,just round the corner from Vilemoura,at the Fishermans end, lots of Wilders there isn't there Alan? :wave::wave:[ALI Baba Grand Djahlaba] I like V,M, you were lucky to be able to wild there . when were you there?:wave::wave:

It is hard to find, just a bit of luck to find the spot. No problems there. Was there 8 weeks ago. It is my 4th year parking at this spot. A dutchman was there for 4 days before he left.
