We love Germany, just chugged through there for a Month, from Denmark to Düsseldorf following the Elbe and Wesser rivers, and the Fairy Tale Route, GRIMM BROTHERS,Fabulous time, super route, an area neglected by Brits , their loss as it is a great area and lots of free stop over places.

dont tell every body they will all go there . ha ha .
ideal for that long summer trip. we visit friends in radebue ,between meissen and dresden. really good trips always . i love east germany . you can watch the barges on the elbe or drift up to the polish border and see the open cast coal mining mind boggling . like being on the moon. cheers alan.

We had a thunderstorm whilst on this Stelplatz in Germany and it got a bit damp under foot !!:fun:
You should have driven off and headed for the sun. Never mind. It is all part of being on the road.

i have camped at Ruegen on the island and Dresden, i love east germany, cottbus, leipzig, zittau etc. not been for a couple of years, my dog loves the Elbe river and cant wait until im back next year with my new german shepherd who i only speak to in german. i lived in dresden for a while and its my fave place.
