Still a great place to park up long term. Used to be even better. I am parked on the road by the beach. Proper showers, water okay for tank, but not drinking.
We used to park up further along a dusty track for shade under the trees. That has been stopped as from this year. I expect in winter they may allow it, I don't know. Signs are up for MH's.
Average beach but great for peace and quiet. Plenty of water and a Portoloo, though it was down right filthy this year. Bins on the beach. As long as you do not take out table and chairs the cops told me I could park up as long as I like. A good walk along the promenade with takes you into the town area where the marina is. Plenty of action, with live bands at one bar/restuarant.
